Curving knee kick video
Info about "Curving knee kick video"
The curving knee kick or also known in Thai as “Kao Kowng” is used for attacking targets like thigh, floating ribs, hips, and the side of the abdomen. In this move, the used knee is raised higher above the target level. It will be brought down and round like a curving motion before impacting the target. The other leg will be turned backward and upward stretching the toes to hold on the weight.
This knee kick is similar to the front knee except that it does not use a forward thrusting motion, but is instead rotated from the outside. Whereas the front knee needs some space in between the combatants to be performed, the curved knee can be executed from a minimal distance, such as in a close clinch.
